The study of the National Cost of Living includes a differentiated analysis by three types of indexes:
Average index — Compares the average price (the average of the price ranges of each product) in the city of origin against the average price (the average of the price ranges of each product) in the destination city.
Efficient index — Compares the average of the low and average prices in the city of origin against the average price range in the destination city.
Convenient index — Compares the average of the low and medium prices in the city of origin against the highest prices in the destination city.
