The Mercer Domestic Cost of Living Report® — Mexico analyzes the market from the perspective of supply and demand of products and services. The user has the advantage of having reliable information on the relative cost between cities, within a specific period.

The study of the National Cost of Living includes a differentiated analysis by three types of indexes:

Average index — Compares the average price (the average of the price ranges of each product) in the city of origin against the average price (the average of the price ranges of each product) in the destination city.

Efficient index — Compares the average of the low and average prices in the city of origin against the average price range in the destination city.

Convenient index — Compares the average of the low and medium prices in the city of origin against the highest prices in the destination city.
